In the heart of Chicago’s River North, a second home was transformed into a gallery-like retreat for an art collector. The vision: custom cabinets as sculpture, seamlessly integrated into the architecture.
In the master bath, BradleyBuilt applied a hand-finished matte stain, creating handcrafted cabinetry that radiates quiet elegance. The entertainment wall cabinets featured concealed storage, allowing technology to disappear behind handcrafted panels. Even the built-in speaker cabinetry was designed to vanish into the cabinet design, merging modern living with timeless craft.
The kitchen was anchored by a rift oak radius custom hood with marble inlay — a statement piece that blurred the line between function and art. White oak cabinets paired with a full-height quartzite backsplash and floating shelves created a minimalist home bar that doubled as a sculptural installation.
Custom integrated lighting elevated each piece, turning cabinets into illuminated architecture.
This River North residence reflects the essence of BradleyBuilt: custom cabinets as design narrative, luxury as restraint, and craft as timeless art.
