BradleyBuilt is a Chicago-based cabinetry and woodworking studio serving designers and homeowners throughout Chicago, the North Shore, and beyond for over 30 years. We work on a limited number of projects each year in order to maintain the level of craftsmanship and attention each project requires. We’ve built our reputation on a simple yet powerful belief: custom cabinets should do more than fill a space—they should shape how that space feels, flows, and functions.
Our master craftsmen bring three decades of experience to every project, transforming cabinetry into deeply personal,architectural statements. Our tight-knit team of artisans create custom cabinets using traditional joinery and carefully selected hardwoods. Grain continuity, alignment, and finish quality are carefully evaluated throughout the fabrication process for accuracy.
At BradleyBuilt our role is to translate design intent into precise, well-crafted millwork that integrates seamlessly within the architecture of the home. We collaborate closely with designers and homeowners to ensure that design intent carries from fabrication through installation. Detailed shop drawings and early coordination allow the project team to resolve technical questions before fabrication begins.
Early Collaboration:We welcome involvement during the design phase to review concepts, material selections, and technical considerations before fabrication begins.
Technical Development:Detailed shop drawings clarify dimensions, joinery, and installation conditions, allowing designers and contractors to review and refine the work before production.
Material Selection:Hardwoods are selected with careful attention to grain, stability, and continuity across the installation.
Installation Coordination:Our team works closely with the project contractor during installation to ensure alignment, reveals, and finish details meet the design standard.

If the issue is the result of an oversight on our part, we will replace or repair the item promptly. If it is a service, maintenance, or wear and tear issue you can count on us to be your trusted partner in returning your cabinetry to it's original condition for a reasonable fee.
Do you work outside of Chicago
Yes. While much of our work is rooted in Chicago and the North Shore, we work with designers and homeowners in all states.
How long does the process take
On average, our projects take 8-12 weeks from design through fabrication. Installation can take anywhere from 2- 4 weeks depending on scale, complexity and site readiness. Coordination of countertops and appliances are important for maintaining the timeline on a cabinet install.
